    • What are the prime ingredients in your products?

      Shea butter, Argan oil, Flaxseed oil, Olive oil, Acacia Senegal exract, Sunflower seed ester and Jojoba butter are some of our main ingredients that go into product making.

    • Why does the shampoo not lather like other shampoos?

      The Curl Co. Cleanse and Hydrate Curl Shampoo do not contain harsh and lather-giving sulphates. So you will have to massage it onto the scalp with your fingertips and then wash out. It will ensure some of the natural moisture gets retained back. So we use a mild surfactant in the shampoo to clean the hair.

    • Can The Curl Co. products be used on chemically treated or coloured hair?

      Yes, absolutely. The Curl Co. products are completely safe to use on coloured hair.

    • What is the difference between 3 stylers?

      1. Our Soft hold curl cream is a light weight gel based curl cream perfect for light hydration and soft hold. Can be used as a one and done or followed up by our hydrating curl gel for added hold. 2. Our Strong hold curl cream is a thicker and moisture rich variant of our soft hold cream. This is a gel based curl creams rich in moisture and hold. Perfect for thick coarse hair as a curl cream. This can be used as a one and done or followed up with our hydrating curl gel. 3.Our Hydrating curl gel is a flexible hold , hydrating gel. This gel doesn’t weight your hair down and provides hydration and hold at the same time. Medium flexible hold, lightweight texture makes it perfect for all hair types. Can be used as a one and done or can be used after our soft/strong hold curl creams for added moisture and definition.

    • Can both curl cream used together?

      It’s not required to use two curl creams at the same time. Instead you can use either of our curl creams and follow it up with our Hydrating curl gel for that perfect moisture and hold

    • How should i layer each product? What should i apply first?

      Always apply the curl cream first and then follow it up with our hydrating curl gel. Depending on your hair type you can use either our soft/ strong hold curl cream.

      Our Hydrating curl gel will give the most hold as it’s a Gel. Our soft and strong curl creams will give light hold along with moisture.

    • Which product is more moisturizing?

      Our strong hold curl cream is richer and thicker in consistency. It has oils and butters for ultimate moisture making it perfect for thick/coarse hair . Our soft hold curl cream is light weight which makes it perfect for fine to medium density hair.

      Our soft hold curl cream will be perfect for fine thin density hair. Our hydrating curl gel will also be great as a hold product for thin, fine hair as it gives volume and light hydration, it doesn’t weigh down the hair. ⁠

      Our Strong hold curl cream is best for people with thick/ coarse hair. Its moisture rich formula provides nourishment for thick hair. Follow it up with our hydrating curl gel for best long lasting results.

      If you have fine to medium density hair then our soft hold curl cream and Hydrating curl gel is for you. It works great for low/ high porosity hair as well.  If you have thick / coarse curly /wavy hair then our strong hold curl cream and Hydrating curl gel will work the best for you. It works great on high and low porosity hair as well.

    • How much of the product should I be using at a time?

      We recommend using a coin-size portion of all our products. You can always increase the product quantity, depending on the hair length, volume and density.

    • My hair is straight. Will The Curl Co. products make my hair curly?

      No, it won’t. Hair texture and pattern are what we are born with, and our products will help make it healthier and shinier; it won’t change the way your base hair looks. It will enhance the naturally curly/ wavy texture.

    • Can I mix and match your products with other brands?

      Yes, you can use our products in combination with other curl-friendly brands. However, for the best results, we recommend you try out our complete curl care bundle.

    • How do I refresh my curls between washes using your products?

      For refreshing in between washes, add a little water to the areas you want to restyle and use a little quantity of our soft hold curl cream. Just scrunch or finger coil that particular area. Work with little product and some water for best results.

    • What is the ideal order of application for styling products in my routine?

      Shampoo - to cleanse the scalp and hair. Conditioner - to add moisture back in the hair,also helps in detangling, soft hold curl cream after to add moisture and hold at the same time .

    • What's the right way of using a detangler?

      Make sure your hair is wet. Lather your hair from mids to ends with conditioner after shampoo. Wait for 1-2 mins and let the conditioner soften your hair. Start detangling the hair from ends moving towards the scalp. Once all the tangles are out, rinse off the conditioner. You can use this detangler for styling as well. After applying our styling product on dripping wet hair make small sections and comb your hair thoroughly and scrunch for definition.

    • Can i use product on dry hair?

      All our products are recommended to use on wet hair for best results. You can use our products on damp hair as well for refresh days. Avoid using on dry hair as it will feel heavy on the hair

    • How to control frizz

      All three of our styling products will reduce and control frizz. Apply the products on wet hair, comb it through and scrunch. Apply either one of our curl creams followed by our Hydrating curl gel for best results.
